I Love to Sing! Singing Technique & Vocal Strain Prevention

I designed, implemented, and evaluated this instructional solution to a small group of students in a music class. Students learned about vocal anatomy, singing terminology, vocal strain protection. Construction Bidding

This instructional solution is an example of an organizational workplace learning project. This project discusses the process of construction bidding and the required steps and challenges contractors face when obtaining construction bids and bonds. This instructional solution consists of both learning and assessment components. Below are images of job aids I created to help a novice contractor obtain bid bonds.

Flute for Non-Woodwind Musicians

An instructional solution that addresses the basics of playing flute to musicians, specifically who are non-woodwind students. Contents include the parts of the flute, embouchure, fingerings, B-flat major scale, and how to care for your instrument.

Phishing Scam Prevention

This instructional design project discusses phishing scams. Participants will learn about the various types of phishing scams, the red flags to look out for when encountering a potential scam, and how to salvage their personal information if caught in a scam

Combating Credit Card Debt

I created a pitch deck presentation that discusses all the components of my instructional solution titled Combating Credit Card Debt. This project discusses the potential dangers of accruing too much credit card debt and lists ways to mitigate bad spending habits while still using your credit card to your advantage. There is a pre-assessment, an eLearning course, and a post-assessment. Each component assists the learner and gives the learner the opportunity to provide feedback.

Painting a Face - Video Tutorial

Using a prior tutorial video that I created about painting a face, I replaced the existing audio with high quality audio using a digital audio workstation (DAW). Here is a one-minute clip on how to paint a face on a canvas with acrylic paint.

The content in this eLearning module discusses a music teacher's role in selecting the right concert repertoire given certain ethical and copyright circumstances. The eLearning course is designed as a scenario-based learning. It contains important concepts, checks for understanding, and empathetic elements.
